Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was a player for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana to stay off the field for many years prior to making her return to rugby league. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women was in 2015. She was a good player against Queensland as well as representing New South Wales. Allana's radio career has grown since she is a regular on the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a highly rated program. Allana has also earned a teaching qualification. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three sports that include the rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the rugby union. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos footballer and rugby league player for Australia's Jillaroos team, was forced to come to an early ending to her career as a player after she tore her ACL on a fourth occasion. Ferguson has already injured ligaments in the same knee at the ages of 15, 17, and after the fourth tear the game was over for the 25-year old. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker is forced to leave the club early due to an ACL tear in the left side for the fourth time. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she was injured during training in November. She was a face of women's Rugby League over the course of several seasons.
