Anne Marie Duff

Anne-Marie Duff has been an English actor, narrator, and writer for more than 30 years. Duff was a graduate of Drama Centre London in 1990 and made her first TV appearances on Trial & Retribution Amongst Women & Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress who was born on October 8, 1970, in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is an English screen and stage actress. She became famous for her role as Fiona Gallagher, the lead character on UK television's Shameless in its initial two seasons. The Virgin Queen (2006) was her subsequent character. She also played Queen Elizabeth I, as well as the main character in From Darkness, a television show that premiered in the year 2015. Duff was in roles like Enigma 2001 The Magdalene Sisters French Film 2008. The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I go to sleep (2015) and Suffragette. The Virgin Queen Shameless The Virgin Queen and Suffragette have all landed her BAFTA nominations for Best Actresses. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her work has seen her perform in theatre, radio and television in equal measure. She garnered mainstream attention portraying Fiona Gallagher in the British comedy-drama show Shameless as well as Queen Elizabeth I on the mini-series of television The Virgin Queen. Anne Marie has developed into an outstanding theatre actor following over 20 years of stage shows, which includes working with The Royal National Theatre.
